Too lazy to put on pics. Currently reading these babies in my spare time…..
The Arabian Nights, by Andrew Lang
Quoting Leverage, ‘Scheherazade is the queen of con’ It’s really a fascinating story about the art of deception and dilly dallying.. Though I was a bit disappointed with how the story revolves around Scheherazade’s make-believe story instead of her story with the sultan. But it’s still a good read.
Grimm’s Fairy Tales, by Wilhem Grimm & Jacob Grimm
Scary stories the old wives used to tell their naughty children to put them away from dangerous woods. Watch the movie(s), then read the book.
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (duh..)
Secretly I believe Mr Holmes is a megalomaniac with the tendency to fancy Watson to his heart desire. Charming character. Read the Classic Library version, and enjoy the old English narration.
